Diana and her team of professionally trained actors bring to life the challenging interactions that medical providers and business leaders have experienced or will need to have with patients and colleagues.
Not only do the participants get a chance to try new communication styles. They get to see the immediate impact of the changes they are implimenting.

CURRENT PROGRAMS:
Successfully Navigating Challenging Conversations
Goals:
Enhancing the communication skills of Physicians and Business leaders to increase cooperation and collaboration between Physicians and Patients. All to promote excellence in the patient care experience.
The program will consist of two sections:
A didactic, during which, we’ll introduce five communication tools that are helpful in achieving the desired outcomes in the types of conversations listed above.
Overview of Communication Tools:
● Foundation: Laying the groundwork for future success.
● Bridge to Connection: Empathy
● Check Self for Unconscious Bias
● Listening for Genuine Perspective Taking
● Ending Well: Securing Future Collaboration
Then, the majority of our time will be invested in interactive role play, practicing incorporating the skills shown above.
Participants are invited to bring example scenarios, a conversation they’ve had that they’d like the opportunity to revisit.
